CREA Fest 2026: Guatemala Multidisciplinary Arts Call

Guatemala's Ministry of Culture and Sports, through its Department of Support for Creation, has launched the call for CREA Fest 2026, a Multidisciplinary Arts Festival that will reach stages across the country in September and October.

The call is open to emerging and professional artists in the visual and performing arts, including dance, theater, circus arts, music, song, and film. The deadline to submit proposals is July 21. Requirements by discipline are published on the Ministry's social media channels, and selected artists will give two presentations in suitable venues.

The initiative seeks to decentralize access to culture, bring art throughout the country, and create a space that lets more creators share their work. By supporting both emerging and established artists across multiple disciplines, CREA Fest aims to broaden the reach of Guatemala's cultural programming.
