Cultura Presente Esquel: Dance and Music Grants
The city of Esquel extends its Cultura Presente call for dance and music projects on human rights, funding two selected projects with 1,300,000 pesos each.
The Subsecretaria de Cultura of the Municipality of Esquel, in Chubut, Argentina, has extended the registration deadline for a new edition of its Cultura Presente program, dedicated to artistic production projects. The call remains open until June 19, 2026.
The program is aimed at artists, groups, and collectives with legal status (personeria juridica) who work in the disciplines of dance and music, with the goal of promoting the creation of original projects that address themes related to human rights. In this edition, two projects will be selected, each receiving financial support of 1,300,000 pesos to cover production costs and fees.
Results of the call will be announced on June 30, and the selected projects may be presented starting September 1, 2026. Interested parties can complete registration online through the official form, and the complete rules of the call are available through the organizers' published link.
Cultura Presente is structured to support local performing and musical artists who can articulate a project around human rights, providing meaningful production funding within a relatively short development timeline. Applicants should review the full rules, confirm their legal status, and prepare a project proposal that clearly connects dance or music to a human-rights theme before the June 19 deadline.
