Eighth Lihpao Sculpture Biennial Awards: Global Open Call
Taiwan's Lihpao Sculpture Biennial Awards opens a global call for entries, co-organized with the Austrian Office Taipei.
The eighth Lihpao Sculpture Biennial Awards, co-organized by the Lihpao Cultural Arts Foundation and the Austrian Office Taipei with support from Taiwan's Ministry of Culture, has announced its global call for entries, open until September 30, 2026. The biennial is based at the Lihpao Cultural Arts Foundation in New Taipei City.
Since its inception, the Lihpao Sculpture Biennial Awards has attracted 1,347 artists from 68 countries, with more than a hundred winners emerging from the competition. Wu Pao-tien, chairman of the Lihpao Group, noted that this edition is held in collaboration with the Austrian Office Taipei, citing Austria's cultural heritage and significant position on the world cultural map, and framed the biennial as a platform connecting sculptors internationally.
The award offers sculptors worldwide a prominent stage and the chance to join a long-running international competition with a strong record of cross-border participation. Full eligibility, categories and submission requirements are available from the foundation.
