Festival Paza la Paz 2026: Call for Bands

The Municipal Administration of Marinilla, in eastern Antioquia, Colombia, has opened a public call for the nineteenth edition of Festival Paza la Paz, a gathering of alternative music. Local musicians and acts from the Oriente Antioqueno region are invited to apply, and registration remains open until July 1, 2026.

The call accepts proposals across rock, metal, punk, ska, reggae, hip hop, electronic music, and fusions. To apply, interested parties must submit a form along with the representative's identification, an updated RUT, a technical rider, musical material, a presentation video, and a portfolio that documents their artistic background. Registration is handled online through the link in the festival's official Instagram profile, @festivalpazalapaz, or through the digital form provided by the organizers.

A committee of specialized judges will evaluate the material under institutional guidelines, considering criteria such as musical quality, creativity, originality, and artistic proposal in selecting emerging artists, established groups, duos, and soloists. The festival aims to integrate new talent into the municipality's cultural agenda and to consolidate a space for civic coexistence through art.

This edition of Festival Paza la Paz will take place on July 19 and 20 at the Malecon Turistico, Parque de las Guitarras, in Marinilla. Musicians interested in performing should prepare the required materials and complete the registration form before the July 1 deadline.
