Deadline: June 9, 2026

The Dublin City Council Community Development Arts Grant 2026 supports collaborative arts projects that combine professional artists and community groups to strengthen community engagement and development across Dublin. Funding ranges from 5,000 to 15,000 euros per project and can cover up to 100% of eligible costs. The programme is designed to support community-engaged artistic projects, encourage collaboration between artists and local communities, promote participatory arts practice and strengthen social inclusion through creative engagement. It treats the arts as a tool for community connection, building long-term relationships, promoting inclusive cultural engagement, strengthening neighbourhood identity and enabling collaborative creative production. Supported art forms include visual arts, theatre, music and opera, literature, dance, film, circus arts, architecture and multidisciplinary work.

Eligible applicants include professional individual artists, arts organisations, community development workers, community and voluntary groups, neighbourhood organisations, and producers or curators working with professional artists. Applications may come from artists applying with a named community partner, or community groups applying with named professional artists. Each project must include at least one professional artist and one community development partner actively involved in design and delivery.
