PECDA 2026: Artist Stimulus Program, Quintana Roo

Creators in Quintana Roo, Mexico can now apply to the 2026 edition of the Program to Stimulate Artistic Creation and Development (PECDA), one of the state's most important support platforms for artists, cultural managers and collectives. The call is driven by the federal Secretariat of Culture through the System of Support for Creation and Cultural Projects (SACPC), in coordination with the Institute of Culture and Arts of Quintana Roo, and seeks to strengthen artistic and cultural development through economic stimulus for creation, training and production projects.

Applicants may include creators, performers, cultural promoters and artistic collectives originally from Quintana Roo or with verifiable residence in the state, across disciplines such as performing arts, music, theater, literature, dance, visual arts and audiovisual media. The 2026 edition offers 42 stimulus grants with a total fund of 2,440,000 pesos, in categories including New Creative Generations, Young Creation, Creation with Track Record and Support for Artistic Collectives.

PECDA has become a key tool for advancing the professionalization and visibility of artistic talent in the states, allowing cultural projects to keep growing and reaching new audiences.
