Great Art for Great Reads Call, Waldoboro

The Waldoboro Public Library in Maine is calling artists and crafters to submit their work for the sixth annual Great Art for Great Reads art show and online auction. The event supports the library, participating artists and the community. Last year's show featured more than 80 works of art.
Artists and crafters are invited to submit up to two works of fine art or crafts for the show. Submittal forms are due at the library by Saturday, August 1, and early submissions are encouraged, as no late forms will be accepted this year. The Great Art for Great Reads show will be on display in the Waldoboro Public Library, at 958 Main Street, from Monday, August 17 to Friday, September 11.
An opening reception will be held Friday, August 28. Bidding for the online auction will open August 28 and end September 11, giving the community a chance to support both the library and the participating artists. Full details and the submittal form are available on the library's website.
