Deadline: July 31, 2026

The Provincial Council of Huesca (Diputacion Provincial de Huesca) in Aragon, Spain has opened a new edition of its Visual Arts contracts, aimed at artists, creators, and researchers who want to develop contemporary creation projects or research tied to the photographic and audiovisual heritage of the Alto Aragon region.

The call is again organized in two lines. The Ramon Acin contract supports artistic creation and research projects in any discipline, with a maximum amount of 12,000 euros. The Angel Fuentes de Cia contract supports the research and dissemination of photographic collections, with a maximum of 6,000 euros. Together the two lines mobilize up to 18,000 euros to support the work of artists and researchers.

Applicants must submit a detailed project description, a budget proposal, and an academic or professional resume. For the Ramon Acin contract, beyond artistic quality, a connection between the project and the province of Huesca is valued positively. For the Angel Fuentes contract, evaluation considers the contextualization of the collection, the research methodology, the planned sources, and possible dissemination actions.

With these contracts, the Council seeks to encourage contemporary artistic production, prompt new readings of the territory, and contribute to the study and dissemination of photographic holdings connected to the province or held in the provincial photo archive. Applications are submitted electronically through the procedure called Contrato menor: Convocatoria Artes Visuales in the catalogue of procedures on the Council's electronic headquarters. The deadline to apply is July 31, 2026.
