Sensity Open Call: Radical Joy

Sensity Studio's annual open call for emerging women artists centers on the theme Radical Joy, offering PR support and a European group exhibition.

Sensity Studio announces its annual open call for emerging women artists, this year centred on the theme Radical Joy. In a context where crisis often defines the present, joy is frequently the first thing we lose and the last we allow ourselves. Radical Joy foregrounds the resilience of the human spirit, shifting attention from suffering to the transformative and often underestimated power of joy, positioning it as a core force in contemporary artistic practice rather than a decorative or secondary idea.

The open call welcomes work across all media that engages with joy, fulfilment and emotional complexity. As Sensity founder Dina Mostovaya states, finding joy is not indulgence but an essential force for strength, innovation and survival. The call is open to emerging women artists, with a focus on the UK and European art markets.

One selected artist will receive three months of PR support, direct access to the international art market with a focus on the UK and Europe, and inclusion in a group exhibition in Europe in 2026. Three finalists will receive portfolio reviews with curators and industry experts, offering valuable entry points into the contemporary art ecosystem. Full details and the application are available through the Sensity Studio website.
