Deadline: June 30, 2026

Self-taught artists from Antioquia, Colombia, can now submit their work to the 5th Salon de Talentos Regionales en el Arte, a call that aims to give visibility to creative processes developed outside Medellin and to promote talent across the department's municipalities.

The invitation is open to creators from the Norte, Aburra Norte, Suroeste, Bajo Cauca, and Occidente regions, provided they do not hold a professional degree in the arts and reside in one of the 68 municipalities where the Medellin Chamber of Commerce has a presence. Medellin itself is not part of the call, as it has other support programs for the cultural sector.

A total of up to 100 works will be selected, with a maximum of 20 per participating region. The chosen pieces will form part of touring exhibitions in their territories and, later, a collective show in Medellin in January 2027. The call accepts painting, drawing, printmaking, collage, photography, sculpture, relief, and small-format installations. Beyond the exhibition, the program offers cash incentives: in each region one work receives 2.5 million pesos, while two others receive special mentions of one million pesos each.

Registration is open until June 30 at 5:00 p.m., online through the Medellin Chamber of Commerce portal or in person at its offices in Yarumal, Bello, Ciudad Bolivar, Caucasia, and Santa Fe de Antioquia. Selected projects for the regional exhibitions will be announced on July 23.
